Baryn Futa believes every society should support and protect art to the extent possible. Unfortunately, Baryn also believes that the arts are too often taken for granted. It is that neglect that serves as the driving force behind Baryn Futa’s extensive support for the arts. Baryn Futa feels that brilliant artists are too often unappreciated by society, he is now motivated to do everything possible to rectify that situation. Put simply, Baryn Futa firmly believes that fine art is a key element that allows insight into any society and serves as a sort of time capsule.

Now an arts aficionado, Baryn Futa started working at the Denver Art Museum when he retired. Until then, he had little exposure to art. He used the time at DAM to attend arts classes, art fairs and exhibitions. He now has an impressive art collection of his own., and he loans his pieces to museums frequently. He is a very important member of many prominent art museums, such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim, and The Jewish Museum, all of which have impressive collections of their own. Baryn Futa hopes to encourage art preservation everywhere.
